A very competitive volunteer opportunity that will challenge you before you get accepted. This is about helping teens on a hotline with their problems. You have to be in the ninth grade to the eleventh grade. This helps you work on listening and communicating skills. For more information you must send your email along with another email listed below, to know when applications will be out.

LA works volunteering opportunities

One of the opportunities they have is this every Saturday from 12:00 to 1 :15 pm and it is required that the volunteer stays for all the shift. In order to enter you must express interest in the follow website page http://www.laworks.com/HOC__Volunteer_Opportunity_Details_Page?id=a0CA000000mAbv0MAC. This program is all about distributing and gathering food to and from agencies. After expressing interest you'll get a email from volunteer@foodforward.org telling you the rest of the process.
