Character

If there is beauty in character,

There will be harmony in home.

If there is harmony in the home,

There will be order in the nation.

There will be peace in  the world.

As a child I always wanted peace. A goal of mine was to make world peace a possible thing. This quote gives me hope in my dream. It talks about how we have to work hard to get peace, but you have to start off at the very bottom. We have to start with ourselves and with who we are. If we have peace within and a astounding character then you can move on to the world. This is because if you don’t have the character for peace how can you make others believe in it or want it. An example would be people who talk about peace and how great it is but when they go home at the end of the day they are mad. They start to fight with their family and that doesn’t bring peace. If we want peace we must start with who we are and what we do. Then we continue to the people around us and make them see this too. After that you move on to bigger groups and when people see that it truly is possible they will believe in peace. Not only that but they will put in their everyting to accomplish it.

What this quote by Joseph Smith is telling me is that since we are the future we have to promote good if we want good. I agree with him because it's good to be an example to others and if we practice this behavior then it will just become a part of us. Choosing the right and committing yourself into becoming a Ctr person can really help you, do good. Imagine a world with random acts of kindness and people just doing good without anything in return. Today because of this success statement I learned this: if we set an example for others they are sure to follow it. This example would be doing good for a good future. An example of this would be my teacher Mr.Haymore. He teaches us to choose the right and do good. Because of his lessons I have been working towards being a Ctr person 24/7. In conclusion we should promote good because it makes the world a better place.    

"I Won't Cheat" Dale Murphy 

When we are small we are taught to do many things and one of them is not to cheat. Dale Murphy has seen many people cheat and he wants to inform the world but children more so that they are aware of their actions. He wants for people to improve so that we succeed in making the future a great one. People know what is wrong and what is right because they feel it after they have acted. An example of this would be a video I saw once and it was about this guy that cheated, he cheated so much that it became a habit. The consequence was that although he wasn't caught when the time came for him to do his job he didn't know what to do. Cheating may be the easy way out but then you are caught and life becomes even more complicated then it was before. We must learn to face our fears and work hard to get what we want. In conclusion we can't always get our way so we must make a way to success.

To me what this means is that your only truly experiencing life when you do good. In other words when we do good things we feel good and life just seems so magical. This is  another advantage of choosing the right, because of it there is a positive reward that makes you feel better. The quote has really brought in some light on the confusing question on how to live your life. If i choose the right then things will go right and if they don’t then i will still feel right because i have the reassurance that at least i tried. I plan on helping people and doing the right thing and i will always get something in return for doing it, that would be a amazing feeling inside. An example of this would be an old teacher that i use to know, her name is hard to write down so i will call her Ms. P. This teacher was very nice and she always tried to help us because she always did good she is now living happily in another part of the world. She’s married and has the job that she always wanted. I have learned from her and from many other people to always stick to doing good because life will end up being great.
