Operating Room Technician 
A operating room technician provides operating health care to patients, Some of their duties may include:  
  • To prepare and transport patients 
  • Set and organize their equipment 
  • Set the operating room 
  • Get materials such as needles or sponges 
  • Fix the lighting 
  • Apply bandages to the patient 
They do many other things, only that the ones listed are the most common. 
Salary: they are said to be paid $49, 940 annually. 
Education: The first thing that they need to do is earn a high school diploma or any equivalent to it. They can do this by meeting the a-g requirements and passing the grades 9 to 12. Then they need to earn a certificate  or an associate's degree in the field of surgical technology. After that you need to earn certification. This is when your done with all the studying but not the actual hardship. You still need to find a place where they are going to hire you. 
Demand or need for this profession: this job is said to grow 15%.

Reflection: I wouldn't want to be one because it involves being in a surgery room and that can be scary. In  a surgery room there is a possibility of the person seeing blood and I have a phobia dealing with blood. I don’t think that I'll be comfortable in a place like this so why work there. It's great but it's not for me.
