Health educator
Duties and responsibilities:
  • They assist meetings and make goals to help the community’s health needs.
  • They collect data and perform studies to see what people learn from health education programs.
  • They are in charge of making programs and other workshops to inform people about health and related topics.
  • They make certain rules for people to follow.
  • They also develop relationships with many people and guide agencies towards health education.
  • Most importantly they provide the public with information based on one’s health.
Salary: A health educator is said to get paid $41,830 annually.
Education:
  1. Either get a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in college.
  2. You can take one of the following classes if you're studying for this career : human development, psychology,and social work.
  3. You must become certified so you must pass an exam given by the NCHEC
  4. Last but not least you must continue your education over the course of recieving your degree.
Demand or need for this profession:This job is said to grow %12 from 2014 to 2024.

Reflection: This job sounds great but i'm not that interested in it. I like helping people but telling them is different from helping. I want to help the public not inform them. In other words i want to do more.
