Pediatrician
As a pediatrician you provide medical attention to the people from a certain age group. This age group is from the newborns to the young adults.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Must be able to diagnose a patient based on auditory and visual indicators. This is because some of the patients like babies and toddlers can't yet explain what hurts.
- They must be prepare to work around 60 hours a week.
- They must be able to track and indicate when a patient needs a immunization.
- Have good communication skills with both parent and patient.
- They must be able to explain treatment and treatment plan.
- They must help the patient if they have an assuage fear to help them get over it.
- Provide prescriptions to patients with the right amount and the right type.
Salary: Pediatrician earns about 173,000 a year.
Education :
- You must earn a bachelor’s degree.
- You must graduate from medical school.This takes four years.
- You must earn a license.
- You must also complete a pediatric residency.
- Last but not least this is optional, you must consider if you want to earn a board certification.
