This statement is familiar  to one that I have heard before in a movie. To me this means to choose your friends well. In other words choose to be with people that will help you do good and not corrupt you to do bad. An example of this would be a person that i knew and his mom always told him that his friends weren’t going to do anything good for him but he didn’t listen. In the end this person went down the wrong path and his mom bought him back up. Now he spends his time with people that help him like his family. My overall conclusion about this quote is that if we know that a person is no good for us then we shouldn’t even dare get near them. Also if we see someone going down the wrong path help them figure that out, since they need a good person like you to tell them. Be a good friend to someone and maybe this will lead to you finding nice people to associate yourself with.
