“My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy;you don’t make them because they are cheap;you don’t make them because they’re popular;you make them because they’re right.” Theodore Hesburgh(Former president of Notre Dame)

What this success statement means to me is that when we make choices we have to make the right ones. In other words it should be something that we live by, to choose the right when you have a say in what happens. This success statement also brings up the reason why some people decide not to do it. For example to find the easy way out but in reality it’s not the easy way out because in the end it just gets over complicated. I have realized that there are no shortcuts to life and we shouldn’t waste time making up excuses for not doing what we are suppose to be doing. This quote has told me that we have a choice and that is that but what we choose is a whole other story. There is good and there is evil in the world and we have a choice on what we want to a part of. If little by little more people start choosing the right, there will be more goodness in the world. So if you want to make the right choice choose the right and you’re one step closer to achieving a world of goodness.
